1. Statutory scope
18 U.S.C. § 2257 and § 2257A require certain producers of "actual sexually explicit conduct" or "simulated sexually explicit conduct" (as those terms are narrowly defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2)) to create and maintain records verifying the age and identity of every performer depicted.
2. Exemption
Miximodel does not produce, distribute, host, or otherwise publish any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2). The platform is dedicated to editorial and artistic-nude content for international freelance models, photographers, and creative agencies — a context that falls outside the statutory definition.
All visual content on Miximodel is uploaded by registered users who have agreed, under the platform Terms of Service, that they are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of upload and that they hold the rights necessary to publish the content. Miximodel acts as a hosting service provider; it does not employ performers and does not direct the production of any depiction.
Accordingly, Miximodel and its operator, MakerLabs SARL, are not subject to the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 or § 2257A with respect to any content currently or historically hosted on the platform.
3. Content removal and reporting
If you believe any specific content hosted on Miximodel falls within the scope of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 or § 2257A, or otherwise violates United States or French law, please report it immediately via the in-product reporting flow on every content surface, or by email to legal@miximodel.com. Reports are reviewed by the in-house moderation team within the timelines published in the Moderation Policy.
4. Operator
This platform is operated by MakerLabs SARL, a French société à responsabilité limitée, SIREN 942 958 216, registered office: see Mentions Légales.
Designated point of contact for Section 2257 inquiries: legal@miximodel.com.
