Miximodel is a professional workspace for international freelance models, photographers, and creative agencies. Content moderation protects every user on the platform and the editorial posture of the product. This policy describes what we moderate, how we moderate it, and what users can expect when content is reviewed or removed.
1. Content posture
Miximodel is a professional workspace for international freelance models, photographers, and creative agencies. The platform permits artistic nude and erotic content (fine-art, editorial, and non-explicit erotic imagery) subject to the following conditions: the uploader must be at least 18 years old; every depicted person must be at least 18 years old and must have consented to publication; and content must comply with the acceptable-use boundary defined in this policy.
Explicit, pornographic, and hardcore content is strictly prohibited — this means any depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct as defined under applicable law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2) for the United States and equivalent French and EU standards). The boundary between permitted artistic-nude / erotic content and prohibited explicit content is enforced by the moderation pipeline described in Section 3.
2. Prohibited content
The following content is not permitted on Miximodel and will be removed on sight:
- Pornographic material (sexually explicit conduct as defined under applicable law).
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, ever.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including "revenge porn", deepfake nudity, and any depiction of a person who has not provided explicit consent to publication.
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against any group.
- Harassment, doxxing, stalking, or content that targets an individual.
- Spam, scam content, phishing, and deceptive commercial practices.
- Copyright infringement (see the Copyright & Takedown Procedure).
- Content depicting minors in any sexualised, intimate, or vulnerable context.
- Animal cruelty, gore intended to shock, and graphic violence.
- Promotion or sale of illegal goods or services.
3. The moderation pipeline
Three lines of defence operate in sequence on every piece of content:
- AI content scanning at upload. Every photo uploaded to Miximodel is scanned by an automated moderation model before it becomes visible on the platform. Content flagged with high confidence is held for human review before publication; lower-confidence signals raise the priority of the item in the review queue.
- In-product reporting on every surface. Every content surface (posts, photos, profiles, comments, messages) carries a one-click reporting flow. Reports are anonymous to the reported user.
- Human review with takedown authority. An in-house moderation team reviews every flagged item and every report, with full authority to remove content, restrict visibility, warn the uploader, or terminate the account.
4. Actions we can take
When content violates this policy, the moderation team selects the proportionate response from the following ladder, depending on severity and recidivism:
- Warn. The uploader is notified of the violation and educated on the rule; the content is removed.
- Hide. Content is removed from public surfaces but preserved internally for evidence and audit purposes.
- Takedown. Content is removed permanently from the platform and cannot be reposted in the same form.
- Account suspension. Account access is temporarily restricted pending review. The uploader is notified of the reason and the expected duration.
- Account termination. For severe or repeat violations, the account is closed and the user is prohibited from creating a new account.
5. Evidence preservation
When content is removed under this policy, the original material and its metadata are preserved internally in an evidence ledger for the period required by applicable law and operator policy. Preserved evidence is disclosed only in response to a lawful request from a competent authority or under the takedown counter-notice procedure described in our Copyright & Takedown Procedure.
6. Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision affecting your content or your account was taken in error, you have two paths:
- In-product appeal (preferred) — when one of your uploads is blocked, an "Appeal this decision" button appears on your own view of the asset. Submit a short description (10–2000 characters) and the case is routed to the moderation review queue. A moderator who was not involved in the original decision reviews the appeal.
- Email appeal — for cases involving an account-level action (not a single asset), or when the in-product appeal is not available, write to moderation@miximodel.com. Include your username and a brief description of the contested decision.
Outcomes: decision upheld, decision reversed (the content is restored to public visibility and the audit ledger captures the override), or partial restoration. We respond within 7 business days. Every appeal is logged in the audit ledger alongside the original moderation decision so the full lineage of a case is traceable end-to-end.
7. Reporting illegal content
For content you believe to be illegal under French, European Union, or United States law (including CSAM, terrorist content, or trafficking), use the in-product reporting flow OR email legal@miximodel.com with full details. Illegal-content reports take priority over the standard queue.
8. Transparency
Miximodel publishes an annual transparency report summarising the volume and nature of moderation decisions taken on the platform. The first report will be published twelve months after the platform's public launch.
